Snagging Survey Service

Our snagging survey service is designed to give you complete confidence in the quality and finish of your new home. Through a thorough and independent inspection, we help ensure that any issues or imperfections are identified early and addressed by your builder and not at your expense - giving you peace of mind that your home meets the high standards you expect.

Each survey is comprehensive and detail-focused, carried out by an experienced, RPSA-accredited surveyor, and includes thermal imaging as standard to help detect any hidden defects or performance issues.

What We Inspect

Our visual snagging inspections cover all key elements of your property, inside and out.

Internal areas: ceilings, walls, floors, doors, windows, staircases, skirting boards, fittings, sanitaryware, appliances, and loft spaces.

External areas: brickwork, render and paintwork, roof coverings, windows and doors, external pipes, drains, garages, driveways, pathways, gardens, walls, fences, gates, and boundaries.

We can carry out either a Pre-Completion and Post-Completion snagging survey, ensuring that your home is assessed at the most appropriate stage for your situation.

Detailed Inspection Report

Following the inspection, you’ll receive a clear, detailed PDF snagging report — typically issued within 48 hours. Each report includes a full list of observations supported by photographs and clear descriptions, making it easy to share with your developer and track progress on any remedial works.

We’re always happy to offer guidance and support after the survey, helping you feel confident and informed as you work with your builder to ensure your new home is everything it should be.
